The system initiates a multi-stage escalation: first, a push notification is sent to your device. If there's no response within your configured window, a trigger alert is sent. Next, an encrypted email goes to your emergency contacts along with your last known location. Finally, your designated contacts receive the information you pre-configured in your Digital Legacy Vault — all without you having to do anything.

SafeCheck Pro is designed precisely for this scenario. The SafeCheck Switch operates server-side — meaning if you can't check in (regardless of the reason), the escalation process activates automatically. Your phone doesn't need to be in your hands or even functional. Your silence is the signal.

Your data is encrypted using approaches derived from military-grade security systems. We are fully GDPR and CCPA compliant. We never sell, share, or monetize your personal data with third parties. Your Digital Legacy Vault contents are encrypted end-to-end and are only accessible to your designated contacts upon a confirmed trigger — not by EnkiLabs staff.

Our trigger system runs entirely server-side — it does not depend on your phone being on, charged, or in your hands. Here's how reliability is built in:

Server-side architecture: Your check-in timer lives on our infrastructure, not your device. A dead battery or lost phone doesn't stop it from triggering.
Multi-layer escalation: If stage 1 (push notification) fails to reach your device, the system still escalates to SMS, encrypted email, and vault delivery on your configured schedule.
Test mode: You can run a full dry-run trigger at any time from your dashboard to verify that your contacts receive the expected notifications before you depend on it in the field.
Infrastructure uptime: Our systems target 99.9% uptime. You can monitor real-time status at status.enkilabstech.com.

The Digital Legacy Vault is a secure, encrypted storage system inside SafeCheck Pro where you can store access credentials, crypto wallet keys, cloud storage links, important passwords, emergency instructions, and personal documents. You decide exactly which contacts receive which pieces of information — and it's only released when a confirmed trigger occurs (missed check-in). Think of it as a digital will that activates when you need it most.

f you forget to press check-in and see the notification, the system will initiate the escalation process as described in the flowchart. The first trigger will activate, and if you do not respond within one hour, a second trigger containing the relevant information will be sent to your contacts. You can set up the time frame, and it should always include a buffer for any unexpected events. For example, we recommend setting the delay to 1–3 hours after the time you expect to arrive home, such as allowing extra time to charge your phone or handle delays.
